Erika Fowler is a partner with Capitol Opinion, a Wisconsin based research firm that combines cutting edge research techniques with the political savvy and experience of some of Wisconsin's top political minds.

Fowler is also a doctoral candidate at the University of Wisconsin – Madison and the Research Director of the University of Wisconsin NewsLab, one of the largest, most systematic local news tracking projects in the country. A summa cum laude graduate of St. Olaf College with a B.A. in political science and mathematics and an M.A. in political science from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, Fowler combines statistical expertise with extensive technical experience and an understanding of the demands of real-time data collection.

In addition to her quantitative skills, Fowler frequently serves as a focus group moderator and has conducted numerous one-on-one elite interviews in cities across the country for various projects.

Prior to attending UW, Fowler worked a quantitative research analyst for the brokerage Piper Jaffray in Minneapolis.
